For this project, I think I deserve an A. I followed the honors project, I made a “book” about the family values I was brought up with. Instead of doing a book, I created five separate scrolls. Each scroll was intertwined in some way, representing the family values I possess. For example for one of the scrolls, I did the five senses. I had a picture of what I thought each sense was, as well as the colors of the rainbow in descending order.
I followed the project just like everyone else did in the class. I believe that by doing an honors project I relearned the pace I am capable of making art. I feel as a portfolio student I work more slowly, and by doing the honors project I was going at a much faster pace then I would have had I not been in portfolio this year.
I think that my A was well deserved because I not only have an artifact that I am proud of; I also regained my creative vision and inspiration. I feel I deserve an A because I followed the guidelines as well as put my own creative spin on it, and it was finished on time on the due date.
